How To Setup USB Camera for OBS

Now, let’s walk you through the simple steps to set it up!

Please follow these 3 Steps to set up the AnyCamera USB connection on Windows:


  • Step 1: Install iPhone's USB Driver for Windows

First, please ensure you have the iPhone Windows USB driver installed. If you already have "Apple Mobile Device Support" installed or can connect your iPhone to iTunes on Windows, you can skip this step.

Please download and install "Apple Mobile Device Support" from this link:


  • Step 2: Install AnyCamera OBS Plugin

Download newest obs-anycamera plugin v1.2.0, download link:

Unzip and run obs-anycamera-1.1.5-windows-x64-Installer.exe to install


  • Step 3: Add AnyCamera USB source

After completing the two preparations above, launch OBS.

Add an AnyCamera Source and select the device you want to connect in the Source properties.

Select USB device to connect:

That’s it! You will see the video start streaming to OBS.


About "Prefer Mode"

Smooth Mode: Reduces latency as much as possible while maintaining smooth video playback.

Low Latency Mode: Disables buffering to achieve minimal delay, but smooth video playback is not guaranteed.

Smooth Mode is recommended: The latency is only 1-2 frames higher than Low Latency Mode, but the video smoothness is significantly better.
